It has been about 4000 thousand years since the cat first domesticated. The ancient Egyptians were the first to keep use of cats to control vermin (rats) and other pest to protect stores of food. In Ancient Egypt, is revered as a hunter and is worshiped like gods and goddesses.The ancient Egypt imposed that cats are also mummified before being buried.:)
